The
National Dance Teachers Association (NDTA) is the leading subject association for dance in schools. They are a membership organisation led by teachers for teachers who work to ensure that all young people in the UK have equal access to a high-quality dance education. They disseminate information and work with other organisations, thereby providing an essential network for dance teachers in schools. NDTA offers advice and guidance, as well as professional development opportunities.
The
Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) promotes knowledge, understanding and practice of dance internationally. It supports the education and training of students and teachers, and provides examinations to reward achievement.
Youth Dance England (YDE) is committed to providing and promoting high-quality CPD for teachers and practitioners who work with children and young people, to develop a high-quality, sustainable workforce through training experienced teachers and practitioners as well as those new to the sector. YDE currently offers two CPD opportunities through the U.Dance and Dance Links programmes, and promotes other opportunities on the website.
