CLA welcomes new Co-ordinator

The Cultural Learning Alliance this week welcomes its new co-ordinator Lizzie Crump. Lizzie takes on the role from Fiona Forrest, who is returning to live in Australia. Fiona has done an incredible job for the CLA and we want to send her all our thanks and good wishes for the future.

Lizzie is well-placed to take forward the work of the CLA, having spent the last ten years working in school and community settings and with a range of arts organisations and local authorities.Lizzie works as an adviser and consultant on policy and practice related to culture and learning. She is passionate about the difference culture can make to the lives of children and young people. From 2003 to 2009 Lizzie worked at Arts Council England, London, in a number of roles including Senior Strategy Officer and Head of Education and Learning. At the Arts Council she specialised in developing new ways for the arts and education sectors to work together.Lizzie is currently also working part-time as the Cultural Adviser for Partnerships for Schools, creating policy and partnerships for schools' capital programmes.
